Organization of battalions, brigades & divisions
Hello and sorry for the lag in posts.
Been working on organizing the formations (at the battalion, brigade & division level). Given the reality of figure availability I Ike most everyone that does this) have had to use the available figure poses to form my battalions. This results in battalions having more of an “advancing” or “firing” inclination.
Putting these together into regiments, brigades & divisions requires consideration of the larger formations overall disposition. As such I’ve taken this into consideration to compose reasonable larger formations and charted the results to do so and share with you now.

French Light Revamp
Since reading the recent 2 books on tactics I have not been happy with the composition of my 13 French light infantry battalions. I think I put them (particularly the battalions I intend to be able to skirmish) together with too much of an Austria skirmishes formation/mix of figures influence (i.e. with only a portion skirmishing, and the rest in formal supporting reserves) which isn’t how the French deployed them usually.
To reconsider/reconstruct these battalions I’ve bought 7 more sets of Hat Voltigeurs (126 figures in 6 poses). I plan to use them to try to build more reasonably accurate and balanced light battalions and regiments, as well as to better fit into their brigade & division formations. I’m halfway through gluing on backpacks and will share pics when I have something worth showing.
Cheers

VI Korps Hungarian battalions
I have packed up most of my units for transportation back to the city. However I am leaving the 11 battalions of VI Korps Hungarian infantry behind for now.
I have repositioned them to a more stable setup for while I am gone, and took some pics to remember them by.

Happy July!
Hello everyone!
Apologies for the lack of posts in June. I have been very busy with work, and moving back to the city. Already taken one haul of stuff back to city, taking the rest down in mid-July when I move back permanently.
As for my army; I have been redressing my Armies in Plastic French line battalions in IV Corps and Army of Italy (replaced a couple firing bats with advancing ones, and replaced kneeling figures and those with caps with standing firing poses). Also added 4 Austrian and 5 French cannon (also AIP).
Working on finishing the French guard Grenadiers a Cheval cav; have about 24 of the target 50 figures, and similar number of the excellent black copies of Italeri horses. With this I will largely be done with the Guard Cav.
Now mostly waiting on the Hat Austrian command, marching & actions sets to build out my Austrian army. Hat has said that the command set will be in their next release, but has given zero indication when that will occur.
All the best to everyone!
